This sole decision marked a significant shift in his life, as he ventured out of his homeland, South Korea, to train as a professional chef. In his first month at Le Cordon Bleu culinary school, Hyun had a taste of an overwhelming yet motivating experience. The hustle and demands of a prestigious culinary school were taxing yet the excitement of becoming a professional chef was palpable. Hyun's exciting journey in Paris took a turn for the better when, in August 2018, he baked his first baguette in a professional bakery setting.
