As she tries to find her footing in the new country, she meets Jin-ho, a fellow freshman. Despite being far away from home, she finds comfort in her newfound camaraderie. The pair quickly connected, marking the start of her Korean social life. The blend of a shared passion for art and mutual support laid the foundation of what would become a significant relationship during her university years. The university life wasn’t just about academics, it exposed her to entirely new cultural experiences. She attended her first Halloween party in Seoul, a celebration that brought her close to Korean youth culture and festivity.
