Stepping into adulthood at the age of 21, Andrew excitedly embarked on his academic pursuit, choosing a Bachelor's degree in Fine Art at Yale University. The same year, he crossed paths with Alicia in one of his Fine Art classes - a meeting that would mark the onset of his first university romance. As Andrew and Alicia grew closer, they decided to make their relationship official. They spent countless evenings painting and talking about art, pushing each other creatively. However, their growing fondness for each other was soon strained under the weight of jealousy and insecurity.

Andrew reconnects with Laura, a classmate from the art department at Yale. The duo started dating, with Andrew spending his first Christmas exchanging handmade gifts with Laura. However, their career paths began to diverge, leading to their breakup. Following the split, Andrew did what he knows best; he channeled his emotions into his art. This helped him cope with his breakup, leading him to produce some of his most potent works during this period. Transitioning to a new phase of his life, Andrew commenced a romantic relationship with a fellow artist he encountered in Boston, Rachel.

Andrew, passionate about art, joined the corporate world in New York City in 2020. Although his artistic craving persisted, the grueling office work didn't allow much room for his passion. Often, he would find himself daydreaming about his canvas, buried under an avalanche of paperwork. In March, life took a colourful twist, he encountered Sophie at an art event. She was lovingly understanding of Andrew's dual existence. With Sophie, Andrew felt seen, understood and cherished. His relationship with Sophie ignited an inspiration in Andrew's life and his art.
